FLIP Association

FLIP Association is a producer organisation established for collection, recycling and reuse of waste electrical and electronic equipment, responsible for the producer responsibility of lamps falling within the scope of the WEEE directive.

Fluorescent, gas discharge and LED lamps

Of illuminators, all fluorescent, gas discharge and LED lamps fall within the scope of the producer responsibility prescribed by law (WEEE category 5, lamps). Of illuminators, only filament bulbs, halogen and vehicle lamps fall outside the scope of producer responsibility.

FLIP Association is one of the founders of service company Elker. Other founders are SELT Association and ICT Producer Co-operative. The Association's operation is non-profit.
