European network

Elker is a member of WEEE Europe AG, a non-profit Joint Venture founded by leading European take back systems.

The network enables the producers to settle the WEEE and portable battery & accumulator requirements and take care of the responsibilities also in Norway and Switzerland, in addition to most of the EU countries.

To nominate an authorized representative is based on the Directive. If you do distance selling of  EE-products to another EU country, you are obliged to nominate an authorized representative to that country to take care of the producer obligations in that member country.

Through Elker's network, you can get guidance on local legislation and the steps to be taken in other European countries.
